She was born on June 11, 1945, in Six Mile, SC, to the late Christine and Archie Durham.
Jo Ann was a longtime member of Mile Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Tony M. Slatton; her son, Kelly M. Slatton (Tina); her grandsons, Sullivan Slatton and Garner Slatton; and her sisters, Geneva Hayton (Marcial) and Edna Watson (Gary).
In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her two brothers, Thomas and Danny Durham.
A visitation will be held on December 3, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm at Dillard Funeral Home, located at 2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671.
The funeral service will follow on the same day at 2:00 pm at the same location.
A committal service is scheduled to follow, at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671.
