Laurens – Kevin Franklin Reed, 50, husband of Anne Slodysko Reed passed from this life on Friday, February 12, 2016 at his home. Kevin was born in Brooklyn, NY a son of Sharon Bowling Reed and the late David Reed. He was retired as a corrections officer with Tyger River Correctional Facility in Enoree. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in New York, and he was a U. S. Army Veteran. Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Anne S. Reed of the home, mother, Sharon Bowling Reed of Tyrone, PA, step-daughter, Kimberly O’Neil of Laurens, and grandchildren, Anneliese Reyes and Dominic O’Neil. Also surviving are brothers, Steven Reed of Maryville, TN and David Reed of Korea, and sisters, Jennifer Pavlica of Bellefonte, PA and Eileen Reed of Australia.
