

Mr. Durham was born in Augusta, Georgia on December 9, 1951 to the late James H. and Leona Kelley Durham. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, Nascar races and at the top of the list was watching Gunsmoke. Lee Allen was a member of Six Mile Church of God of Prophecy, loved his family and was a caregiver to all he came in contact with.
Mr. Durham is survived by his two daughters: Amy Hester (Joe), Jana Hester; three grandsons: Aaron Hester, Matthew Marshall (Shye) and Michael Marshall. He is also survived by six brothers: Gene Durham (Patsy), Wesley Durham, Wade Durham, David Durham (Stacy), Danny Durham (Mary) and Dale Durham; five sisters: Carol Hart (Randall), Martha Galloway, Mary Moore, Dot Brackett and Vertie Stansill and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his loving wife and parents, Mr. Durham was preceded in death by a brother: Leroy Durham; three sisters-in-law: Carolyn Durham, Betty Durham, Deborah Durham and one brother-in-law: Marty Moore.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Six Mile Church of God of Prophecy, 133 Furman L. Smith Memorial Highway, Central, SC 29630, with burial in church cemetery.
The family will receive friends before the service from 11:00 AM until 11:45 AM, at the church.
