Mrs. Linda Alexander

Born on August 20, 1946, in Greenville, SC, Linda was the daughter of the late Marie Cassell Crumpton and Jack Crumpton.

Linda dedicated many years of her professional life to the American Cancer Society, where she served proudly as Executive Vice President. Her tireless efforts to raise funds and awareness made a lasting impact on countless lives.

Linda had a heart for people, she loved her family and friends deeply and extended that same warmth and care to everyone she met. Her kindness was unmistakable, and her gentle, welcoming spirit made others feel immediately at ease. Her presence was a gift, and she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years (38 of which they were married), Bill Alexander; her beloved son, Matt Edwards, and granddaughter, Hadley Edwards; stepchildren Billy Alexander and Brook Alexander-Harrison; sister, Jenny Huskey; and brothers Jack Crumpton (Fredda) and Dan Crumpton (Sheila).

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 1:00 to 1:45 PM at Dillard Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in Dillard’s Chapel, with entombment to take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671.
