Mrs. Wingo was born on March 9, 1943, in Pickens, South Carolina, to the late James Robert and Lenora Ruth Willimon Gantt. She loved bird and butterfly watching, and anything lemon. Mrs. Wingo cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and pulling "Nanny Shenanigans" on her family.
Mrs. Wingo is survived by her children: Jennifer Colburn (Chris), Tyler Wingo (Danielle), Mary Staton (Raymond), Jane Miller (Matt), Jay Wingo, and Robert Wingo (Cricket); eleven grandchildren; and 5 great- grandchildren.
A graveside service is scheduled at 3:00PM on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, the family will receive friends after the service.
