Pickens – Macie Marie Ellenburg Slatton, 72, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Mrs. Slatton was born in Pickens County daughter of the late Glenney Lee and Clydes Adell Porter Ellenburg. She was a cook and worked in area restaurants and she was a member of Cove Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Michael Durham (Vickie) of Pickens, Kenneth dale Durham (Sandra) of Easley, and Tony Eric Durham of Pickens and her daughter, Lisa Marie Thomas of Elberton, GA. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, March 11, 2016 at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens from 1:30 to 3:15 PM with funeral services following in the funeral home chapel at 3:30 PM.
