Mrs. Mary Cathey Lesley

Mary C. Lesley Easley, SC Mary Elizabeth Cathey Lesley, 83, of Anthony Road and wife of the late J.D. Lesley, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Annie Bell Graham Cathey. Mrs. Lesley was retired from Ryobi and was a member of Blue Ridge View Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, Patsy Taylor (Charles), David Lesley (Linda), Larry Lesley and Sammy Lesley all of Easley; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a brother, Lee Wood of Pickens; and three sisters, Ellon Hancock of Easley, Marie Wooten and Shirley Chastain both of Pickens. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Lesley and a sister, Louise King. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Blue Ridge View Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at the church. Pallbearers will be Brad Durham, Alexander Simmons, Timmy Merrell, Jason Alexander, Phillip James and Andy Gantt.
