Pickens – Mattie Norris Anderson, 90, widow of Walter Elijah Anderson passed from this life on Thursday August 17, 2017. Mrs. Anderson was born in Abbeville County a daughter of the late William Rollie and Myrtle Maness Norris. She was retired from Southern Weaving in Easley and she was a member of Glassy Mountain Baptist Church. Surviving is a son, Donnie J. Anderson and his wife Paula of Easley and four grandchildren, Ricky, Tommy, Sandy and Susan. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by a son, James R. Anderson, granddaughters, Tina and Kim and four sisters. The family will receive friends at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 2 to 3:15 PM with funeral services following in the funeral home chapel at 3:30 PM.
