Mildred Nix Cantrell, 86, passed from this life on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Majesty Health & Rehab in Easley. Mrs. Cantrell was born in Pickens County, daughter of the late King Edward and Iola Thomas Nix. She was retired from Alice Manufacturing Company and she was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church. Surviving is a nephew, Tony Kelley of Liberty. The family will receive friends from 11:45 to 12:45 PM Monday, June 1, 2015 at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens. Funeral service will follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Roanoke Baptist Church Cemetery.
