Nelle Hunnicutt Watson

Mrs. Watson was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Henry Grace and Maggie Morgan Hunnicutt. She was a homemaker and a member of Prater’s Creek Baptist Church where she was a member of the Nannie Entrekin Sunday School Class and taught Bible School.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Reece of Pickens and a son, Leamon Watson (Vivian) of Pickens, 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Watson was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Tom Walton Watson and Charles Wayne Watson, granddaughter, Cam Underhill, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Friday, February 6, 2015 in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens with burial following at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
