Ollie Leona Rice

Born in Murphy, North Carolina on March 6, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Zeb and Emma Rose Gibson.

Ollie is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Todd (Charles); daughter, Gloria Collins; grandchildren: Charlene Huff; Allen Gilstrap, Samuel Gilstrap (Lesly), Melissa Stewart (Kenneth), Rodney Tally (Mary); great-grandchildren: Camille Huff, Mazey Stewart, Nora Gilstrap; Andy Gilstrap, Raven Tally; and sister, Ann Hayes (Furman "Gabby").

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Rice; daughter, Rosalee Sentell; two great-grandsons, Caleb Gilstrap and Aaron Gilstrap.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, South Carolina.
