Born on May 16, 1940, in Greenville, South Carolina he was the son of the late Lucius Durham and Guyneth Goudelock Durham.
After high school, Parker proudly served his Country in the United States Airforce for over 20 years, finishing his career as a Master Sergeant. He was a devoted member of Praters Creek and enjoyed spending his free time farming on his land. Parker's greatest joy was his family, and he was blessed to meet his great-great grandchildren. He instilled the values of honor, faith, and dedication into his family, leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come.
Parker is survived by his son, Robert C. Durham; daughter, Lisa Ann Black (Lee); four grandchildren: Shawn Black, Kenneth Black (Summer), Amanda Black, and Brandy Durham; 10 great-grandchildren: Makayla Collins, Ashton Black, Landon Black, Kaden Collins (Natalie), Jenna Black, Logan Black, Laila Black, Akina Hahn-Hogan, Jackson Mullinix, and Payton Black; two great-great grandchildren, Carter Black, and Parker Black; brother, Gary Durham.
In addition to his parents, Parker was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Antoinette Durham; and brother, Perry Durham.
A visitation for Parker will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM, at Dillard Funeral Home, 2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy Pickens SC, A funeral service will begin in the chapel at 11:00 AM with a committal service with Military Honors to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
