Patsy was born in Walhalla, South Carolina to the late Nettie Hood and Jack Holcombe. A beloved wife, mother, and "Gma", she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a devoted member of Gap Hill Church of God and was the co-owner of Midway Forest and Products.
A visitation for Patsy will be held Monday, September 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home, 2402 Gentry Memorial Highway, Pickens, South Carolina 29671. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Dillard Funeral Home Chapel. Patsy will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Patsy is survived by her son Keith Newton (Julie); daughter Vickie Bailey (Jeff); her grandchildren: Terri Teramano (Mike), Josh Abercrombie (Olivia), Whitney Moore; great-grandchildren Anna, Ethan, Grayson, Emerson, Eislee, and Gracie Scott.
Patsy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years George Walter Newton; three brothers James, Jesse, and Jackie Holcombe; and sister Argielee Durham
