Pauline was born in Pickens, SC on December 8, 1918 to the late Hayes H. and Minnie Nelson Daves. She was retired from the textile mills as a machine operator, and her retirement was spent sewing quilts that she gave family members as gifts. Pauline was a strong and independent woman living in her own home until her last day. Pauline raised three loving sons that were taught how to take care of their families. She was predeceased by her son Daniel and her daughter, Betty Jane.
Surviving are her sons Elbert “Cadillac” Jones (Ruth) and Lewis Jones (Vivian); ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and five great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017, at 3 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel, with receiving of friends prior from 2 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. The Reverend Phillip Jewel will be officiating the service.
