Missy and I have been friends since first grade sharing fond memories and good times. Miss Mae was always so nice and loving to me. It was always a pleasure to talk to her whenever I saw her around town. I’m going to miss her sweet and fun spirit. Love you always Miss Mae.

To the Parris Family, So So very sorry for your loss. Mae was a very good care taker for my mom when they were roommates at Manna. Mae would always make sure that mom had someone to talk to and show her that she loved her as much as her husband and children did. As i sit here in total shock that she is gone, I am praying for Mae's whole family and that God will hold each of you in the palm of his hand and show you that he is always there for you. Mae and mom are talking in Heaven now and Mae is no longer sick and neither is Mom. She was such a sweet caring person and always put others before herself. I just can not say enough about her beautiful personality. Enjoy Heaven Mae!! You suffer no more!!!

Mae was just a couple of rooms down from my mama at Manna. We loved to go down and talk with her. My mama and her would talk about old days and Rosman NC and connect families together. Mae had told me a while back that she was there for a reason and I told her yes, she was there to be a friend to my mama and other people as well. Mae had a good heart and was a blessing to be around! My thoughts and prayers go out to Robby and the family!

What a beautiful angel heaven gained last night. Mae was always so loving and full of life - she made all of our "family gatherings" so special, her love of God was always on display without her making any effort at all - she was a true Christian - we should all strive to be the kind of person Mae Parris was. We will never have a family dinner again when I won't miss Mae's blessing terribly. Our hearts go out to the family - know for certain that you are a constant in our thought and prayers. With Our Love and Deepest Sympathy, Debbie and Kirby Land
