Ralph Winston Massey

Ralph was born on June 6, 1947, in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, to the late Ralph and Katherine Holtzclaw Massey. Ralph was known all over for his ability to be one of the best guitar luther's. He loved to serve the Lord in churches playing music and preaching. Ralph not only talked the talk about Jesus, he lived it out. He will be missed by all of those who knew him.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Susan Massey, one son: Brian Massey (Terri); one grandson: Cody Massey (Cass); one granddaughter: Taylor Garland; two brothers: Vick and Billy Massey; and two sisters: Kathy Tolley, and Joyce Morris (Frankie).

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his brother Markel Massey.

The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 16, 2026 in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 12:45 PM in the Garden Room.

The committal service will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park located at 7 Duncan Rd, Travelers Rest, SC 29690.

Dillard Funeral Home is assisting the Massey family with their arrangements.
