Dear Hershberger Family,
Today, I saw the news on Facebook of Ray's homegoing.

Surely, a joyous family reunion is taking place in the heavenly realms, as Ray is meeting those who have gone on before!
I am praying for all the family and especially for Buddy.

Ray was the first Hershberger I met when he stopped by my brother Fred's house on Hwy 201 and expressed interest in it.
I was there working on clearing out the house and making repairs.

Blessings!! Janet Tilghman

Ray was an amazing Father-in-law; full of love and joy. I hold so many memories close to my heart. He was always laughing and smiling. I will forever miss the joy he found in his grandchildren. I am thankful for the example he was to my family, always trusting and praising his Lord and Savior. I know his prayers for his family and friends will be a blessing to us until we can see him again... until that day we will be missing him. We love you Ray.

Ray was just that...a Ray of sunshine everywhere he went! We went to Church with their family around 12 years in Pickens. Ray and Betty and us worked on the Church's food committee around 3 years. We worked together so good and made so many wonderful memories! We all ended up in Fair Play in the same Church again! 😀 Ray was such an inspiration to ALL who met him. He left such a big footprint in life and that makes it harder to know that he is gone! He was a huge prayer warrior and was never ashamed to talk about God! We are truly gonna miss you buddy😢 ....we appreciated and loved you! Gone but never forgotten! Fred & Judi Overholt

Time and loss can never dim the bloom on the roses of your memories.

Praying the memories you hold close to your heart will comfort you today.
