Ricky Dale Childress

Ricky Dale Childress Easley, SC Ricky Dale Childress, age 62, husband of Ann Childress went to be with the Lord Monday August 29, 2016 at their home. Mr. Childress was born in Greenville County and loved his family dearly. He is the son of Sybil Rice Childress and the late M.L. Childress. Mr. Childress worked in inside sales at Louis P. Batson and also worked at the Greenville Pickens Speedway signing in drivers and at the Upper South Carolina State Fair in ticket sales. Mr. Childress loved textiles dearly. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife Ann of 24 years, four daughters; Kristi Garren (Joe) of Pickens, Brandy Harrison (Lonnie) of Easley, Melissa Childress of Liberty and Holly Kennedy of Easley. Mr. Childress also leaves in his memory one niece, two nephews, seven grandchildren and a special cousin; Sandra Williams of Easley. Mr. Childress is predeceased by his father and a brother; Terry Childress. A Memorial Service for Mr. Childress will be held at East Pickens Baptist Church 2244 Gentry Memorial Highway Pickens, South Carolina Thursday September 1st, 2016 at 10AM The family request memorials to be made to the charity of your choice.
