Born in Pickens, he was the son of the late Janet Ruth Funk and David Valley Morris. Ricky had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found joy in hunting and fishing. When he wasn’t in the woods, he could often be found watching NASCAR races. Above all, his family was his greatest pride and joy. Ricky is survived by his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of 51 years, Diane Morris; son, Joshua Morris; grandchildren: Collin Morris (Emily), Devalen Morris, Donavan Morris (Madisyn), Christian Morris, Hunter Morris, and Valley Morris; great grandchildren: Grey Morris, Olive Morris, Hazel Morris, and Elaina Morris.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his son, James Morris.
