Robert Wesley Simmons

Robert Wesley Simmons, age 80, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 7, 2016. Mr. Simmons was born in Pickens, SC and a son of the late William Clarence Simmons and Ida Mae Simmons. Mr. Simmons retired from Duke Power as a Quality Control Inspector, a member of Crescent Hill Baptist Church and a Mason. Survivors include his wife Rheba Simmons, a son; Steve Simmons (Debra) of Liberty, a daughter; Shari Durham (Roger) of Six Mile, two sisters; Mary Ann Hayes (Theo) of Pickens, and Nancy Peace (Stan) of Lawrenceville, Ga and three step children. Also left to share in Mr. Simmons memory are ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren Mr. Simmons is predeceased by his wives from previous marriages; Ruth Wood and Blanche Eades and a daughter; Donna Ruth Simmons Visitation will be held Sunday December 11, 2016 from 1:30pm until 3pm at Dillard Funeral Home. Services will continue following in the chapel at 3pm. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens. The family will be at the home.
