Roberts Langmade Rees

Six Mile, SC – Mr. Roberts Langmade Rees, age 71, went to shake the Big Guys hand on May 23, 2022. Mr. Rees was born in Chicago, Illinois and was the son of the late Dr. Roberts Moss Rees and the late Eugenia Adams Rees and loving husband to Laurie Ann Pike Rees.

Survivors include his son Christopher Rees of Andover, New Jersey and daughter Brigitt Belen Rees of Milford, Connecticut. Surviving are two stepdaughters Krista Gallardo of Easley, South Carolina and Bambi Messina of Piedmont, South Carolina and a Stepson Alan La’clair of New Haven, Connecticut. Mr. Rees is also survived by a sister Gena Rees Douglass of Connecticut.

Mr. Rees was pre-deceased by a stepson Michael La’clair.

Mr. Rees was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. Riding with friends brought him great joy. He was a proud participant in AA and touched many lives through his involvement with the group. He enjoyed being a “dad” and camping with his wife. His furry friends Lulu and Miles brought him comfort and care. Mr. Rees was a supporter of the Second Amendment enjoying the shooting of his guns and was a strong supporter of General Robert E. Lee and the confederacy. He would always say: “I never had it so good”.
