Ruth E Woodall

She was born on April 25, 1957 to the late Derriel Woodall and Elizabeth Raynell Cater Woodall. Ellen went to Pickens High School. She was a hard worker who balanced her family and jobs. Ellen was very outgoing, loved to line dance, and fish with her fiancé Ray Todd. Ellen loved company and getting out when she could. She loved helping others whenever possible. Her health in her later years slowed her down but did not stop her from attending major family events. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend.

In addition to her fiance, Ray, Ellen is survived her two children: Tonya Davis (Mark) and Rodney DeRossett; four grandchildren: Jason Davis, Hunter Derossett, Caleb DeRossett, and Ansley DeRossett; five sisters: Betty Winchester (Bob), Pat Crowe (Carl), Peggy Eaves (Rodney), Judy Robertson (Jack), Lib Pelfrey (Andy); one brother: Joby Jones; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Ladd.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 14, 2022 in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM prior to the service.

The family would like to thank Regency Hospice, especially Beth, Trevar, and Jeff for their kindness and care of Ruth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Regency Hospice.
