Rest in Peace Shoop. You always made me laugh when I had you in class or was walking through the halls. Gone way too soon. Rest easy brother.

Dear Shoop Family,

I am sadden by the loss of your son Ryan and send my condolences. I was his Tae Kwon Do instructor at Clemson and spent many hours with Ryan. He always tried hard in class. I will miss not having him.

Our family extends our deepest condolences at the loss of your dear Ryan. We were blessed to have met Ryan during his freshman year at Clemson when he and our son, Matt became roommates. We are praying that God comforts your grieving hearts and soothes the pain in your souls. May He wrap His arms around you and carry you through these very difficult moments. Ms. Shoop. No words can express my profound sadness at your loss. I cant begin to fathom your feelings right now. Just the other day I was in your classroom exclaiming at how very handsome your sons were. We spoke about the dog. Your faith will keep you strong. I'll be praying too. God answers prayers.

At such a big school with so many people, I feel so fortunate that I met Shoop at the beginning of my freshman year. In such a big new place, we always had each other from the very beginning. Shoop made sure there was never a dull moment. His humor and positive attitude made such an impact on my daily life and I need him with me. He was my best friend at school and I will miss him more than anything.

My brother introduced me to Shoop last Spring after telling me all about him since their Freshman year at Clemson. He told me of how fun, kind, and generous Ryan was and how I had to meet him. I am so lucky to have met Shoop and to have gotten so close with him. He was just as special as my brother told me and more. He was the best friend two guys could have asked for and we will miss him greatly.

I’m devastated by this news . Having two sons of my own,the pain and sorrow is more heartfelt..I didn’t know your son,but I knew you as a fun loving, caring person..Your beautiful son seemed to share those characteristics..🙏🏼

I am devastated to hear of Ryan’s passing. I fondly remember Ryan’s smile especially when he ever so quietly would crack a joke only to be heard by those sitting close to him in class. I also knew all was well as I heard his classmates call out “Shoop!” in the hallways as he walked by. We have truly lost a ray of sun with Ryan’s passing. Austin and Mr. & Mrs. Shoop, please accept my deepest condolences and my prayers.
