Born on February 9, 1948, she was the daughter to the late Eddie and Sue Carpenter.
In her earlier years, Jeanie worked for Cornell Dubilier Electronics. She loved her family, her cats and enjoyed spending time outdoors.
Jeanie is survived by her beloved husband, Timmy Ray Herring Sr.; daughter, Angela Goodrich (Timothy); daughter, Dawn Turner (Dave); two grandchildren, Dakota Ladd (Chris Abee) and Devin Hester; sister, Cheryl Dunagan (Steve).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two step-sons, Christopher Mark Herring and Timmy Ray Herring Jr.; siblings: Kathy Cox, Billy Carpenter, and Eddie Carpenter Jr.
