

Stewart Russell Parsons, born on May 4, 1952, passed away on December 31, 2025, at the age of 73. A respected resident of Easley, South Carolina, Stewart's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Stewart Russell Parsons was a devoted father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He spent much of his life as an over-the-road truck driver, faithfully working to support and provide for his family. Stewart was a graduate of Tri-County Technical College’s truck driving school and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from February 1971 throughout the end of 1974.
Stewart was raised by his loving grandparents, William “Ace” Parsons and Betty Virginia Parsons, with additional care and guidance from his aunt, Sarah Parsons. Their influence helped shape the man he became.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; his sisters Vicky, Cindy, Teen, and Jennie; his brother Bill (Randall) Parsons; and his beloved son, Jason Stewart Parsons.
Stewart is survived by his children: Joseph (Joey) Parson-Easley; Becky Parson Smith (Michael) of Pickens; Felicia Hope Mullinax (Trey) of Easley; and Jennifer Nix Parson of Pelzer. He was a proud grandfather to twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. His surviving grandchildren include Justin Parson, Cole Parsons, Kelsey McMinn, Natalie Mullinax, Harrison Mullinax (Baleigh), Emily Parson, Haley Parson, Megan Parson, Kloe Armentrout, Addison Mullinax, Sara Mullinax, and Bethany Mullinax.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 9th at 2:00 p.m. at West End Baptist Church, located at 120 Mission Drive, Easley, South Carolina.
Stewart was a born-again sinner, saved by grace. This is not goodbye—this is simply, we will see you later, Daddy.
