Mrs. Sue was born on April 21, 1936, in Pickens, South Carolina, to the late Mack T. and Viola Garren Daves. She loved serving and worshipping at East Pickens Baptist Church until her health declined.
Mrs. Sue enjoyed being outside working in her yard, cutting the grass or sitting around at home.
Mrs. Sue is survived by her brother Hiott Daves (Pearl), her sister Shirley Bristow, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sue was preceded in death by he beloved husband Glen McKinney and ten siblings.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Hillcrest Memorial Park, located at 2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens SC 29671.
