Theron Johnson Crenshaw Pickens, South Carolina Theron Johnson Crenshaw, age 87, husband of Betty Keasler Crenshaw went to be with Lord Friday July 10, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital. Mr. Crenshaw was born in Pickens County a son of the late Fannie Martin Crenshaw and Bluford B. Crenshaw. Mr. Crenshaw worked for The Singer Company and Highway Department for many years. He was a member of several civic organizations and a Community Volunteer in the Pickens area. He also was a United States Army Veteran and served in the Korean War. Survivors include his wife of 62 years one daughter; Deborah Allgood (Eddie) of Pickens , two grandchildren; Jenny Crain (Phillip) , Katie Boiter (Travis), three great grandchildren; Will Crain, Kaylin Crain and Emma Boiter. Memorial Service will be held 3:00pm Sunday July 12, 2015 at Crescent Hill Baptist Church with visitation following the service. Mr. Crenshaw was predeceased by his parents and nine siblings. Memorials may be made to Crescent Hill Baptist Church, 115 Crescent Hill Drive, Pickens, SC 29671. The family will be at the home. Dillard Funeral Home is assisting the Crenshaw family.
