Thomas Arthur Parker

Born November 22, 1965, to Rosemary and Kenneth Wayne Parker in Easley, South Carolina.

Tommy was an avid fly fisherman and could often be found on the Davidson River, enjoying the peacefulness of the water and fishing with flies he had handmade himself. He loved riding in his Jeep and taking family vacations to Panama City Beach.

Above all, Tommy cherished his time with his family, especially his granddaughter, whom he loved spending time with and playing with. He found great comfort in being at home, where he could often be found sitting in his rocking chair on the front porch, admiring the beautiful mountain views.

Tommy enjoyed many of life’s simple pleasures, including shooting, listening to old-school rock music, and relaxing with a nice, cold Dr. Pepper. He also had an impressive watch collection that reflected his appreciation for the things he loved. Tommy was happiest at home, surrounded by the people, places, and things that brought him joy. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Tommy is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Theresa Parker; children, Seth Thomas Parker and Ashley Owens (Parker Owens); granddaughter, Brinley Owens; mother, Rosemary Parker; brother Andy Parker, brother-in-law, Brian Gibson; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Tommy was preceded in passing by his father, Kenneth Wayne Parker, and sister, Susan Gibson.
