

Tina was born on March 1, 1966, in Pickens County, daughter of Olin Henry Gilstrap and the late Mary Helen Galloway Gilstrap. She loved fishing, camping, arts and crafts. She was a wonderful cook and caregiver to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and Daddy! Tina loved the beach, walking in the sand and playing in the water with her grandbabies and great grandbabies. With a nurturing heart, she loved spending time with her family and friends and caring for them. She always put the needs of others, before her own. She was vibrant, funny, loving, caring, goofy, selfless, with a protective personality. She was a truly beautiful soul!
Surviving are her two daughters, Samantha Vera (Ignacio) and Melinda Gomez (Francisco), one brother, Olin Eugene Gilstrap; five grandchildren, Emanuel Vera, Marissa Vera, Luis Tolentino, Alma Morales and Helena Gomez; two great-grandchildren, Alberto Vera and Kataliyah Tolentino.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 18, 2021, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Mountain Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Tony Stancil officiating.
