Mr. Patterson was born in Brevard, NC on January 31, 1941 to the late Everett and Grace Gosnell Patterson. He was retired from BASF and was of the Christian faith. Mr. Patterson was a U.S. Army National Guard Veteran.
In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Patterson is survived by two sons: Wade Patterson and Joe Patterson (Lisa), both of Central; a brother: Clinton; two sisters: Joyce and Lisa; and four grandchildren: Brett Wemett, Eric Ferenchak, Jordan Patterson, and Kyle Patterson.
All services and interment for Mr. Patterson will be private.
