Pickens, SC – Mrs. Venice Juanna Davidian, age 59, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 12, 2021. Venice was born in New Britain, Connecticut and was the beloved wife of Rick Davidian. They were lovingly married for thirty-six years. She was the daughter of the late Sebastian Ciaffaglione and Beatrice Rossi Ciaffaglione.
Survivors include her three children Cathrine Motte (Chris) and their two children Pierson and Hunter of Anderson, South Carolina; Stephanie Davidian (Hassan) of Easley, South Carolina; and Ricky Davidian of Omaha, Nebraska. Also surviving are brother Hugo Ciaffaglione and sister-in-law JoAnn of Sanford, Florida; brother Carl Ciaffaglione (Christine) of Wellington, Florida; and sister Laura Seremet (Edward) of Bluffton, South Carolina. Also surviving are a number of nieces, nephews and cousins who loved and adored Mrs. Davidian.
Venice loved going to the beach. Her favorite beach was Isle of Palms. She enjoyed gardening and growing her roses, herbs and azaleas. She enjoyed cooking food from her ancestral home of Sicily, Italy. She loved pasta and her claim to fame was her homemade tomato sauce. Venice liked to knit and crochet and loved crafting very much. Reading and literature were her passions, and she also enjoyed playing tennis. She loved to laugh, and above all, Venice inspired limitless joy and happiness in everyone she met.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 2:30 PM in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home, 2402 Gentry Memorial Highway Pickens, South Carolina. The family will greet visitors starting at 2:00 PM.
