Wanda was born in Greenville, South Carolina on January 11, 1967 to the late Shelby Jean Barnette and James W. Alexander.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved doing crafts of any kind, especially sewing, knitting, crocheting, and making jewelry. Wanda was a faithful member of Secona Baptist Church for many years and a member of the Upcountry Quilters Guild.
Wanda is survived by her husband Daniel “Danny” Adams Jr.; her daughter Megan Trotter (Chris); her son Trey Adams (Ryleigh); her daughter Liza Lassausaie (Ethan); her grandchildren Zaiden; Peyton; Preston and Bear; her mother-in-law Shirley Adams; who was like a second mom to her; her sister Teresa Edgar (Marty); her fur babies Tucker, Duke and Kiwi as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, James Alexander and Shelby Barnette Alexander, as well as her baby girl Taylor Marie Bearden.
A visitation for Wanda will be held Monday, June 17, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home, 2402 Gentry Memorial Highway, Pickens, South Carolina 29671.
The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM, at Secona Baptist Church, 234 Secona Rd, Pickens, SC 29671. Mrs. Adams will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park, following the service in the church.
