Six Mile, SC – Mr. William “Bill” Dewey Willimon, Age 89, husband of the late Samantha McCall Willimon went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. Mr. Willimon was born in Pickens County, South Carolina and was the son of the late Walter Willimon and Dora Smith Willimon.
Survivors include sons Dale Willimon (Katherine) of Six Mile, South Carolina and Steve Willimon of Piedmont, South Carolina. Mr. Willimon was predeceased by six sisters and three brothers. He was the last of his siblings.
Mr. Willimon was a member of the Wesleyan faith and attended Mount Olivet Wesleyan Church and the Free Wesleyan Church. He worked most of his career in tool and die cast with Piedmont Tool and Die Cast before his retirement with Ryobi. He loved his Lord and was known for loving music and being a musician having played some with Loretta Lynn and the Wilburn Brothers before involving himself in a local gospel group. His first priority was living for his Lord and being a servant of his Lord in music sharing the gospel. He also loved to fish and hunt when his health allowed.
The family will be having a private graveside service.
