I remember your mother for many reasons. A smile that never seemed to disappear, her concern for the well being of others and her love of God. She was faithful until the end. She was a friend of my late wife and I am sure that that had a wonderful reunion in Heaven. May the peace of God be with you, especially, the great grand daughter. Mrs. Tollison exemplified the life of Christ in her total being while embracing all humanity.  She died as our Savior and Lord reaching out to the "least of these."  I will be forever grateful to Almighty God for bringing this remarkable woman into my life.  Before all our quirky expressions regarding diversity, Mrs. Tollison lived a life of acceptance of all our differences; whether race, religion or cultural:  she truly loved all humanity and always gently encouraged each of us in the teachings of Christ our Savior.  Even in death the light of her instructions continue to illuminate my path, for she truly helped me to realize that "I am a survivor not a victim."   Mrs. Alice Tollison was much more than a friend or confidante, for she was indeed a SAINT to me.

She was a wonderful person. She will be greatly missed in Happy Hookers.

I am so sorry for your loss.  She will be so missed.  This world has lost a wonderful woman. I attended Dentsville Baptist Church with Alice and so grateful to have known her.  Such a good person to so many, she was absolutely amazing.  And to her precious Great Granddaughter who came to church with her all the time, you meant the world to her. I DID NOT KNOW MISS ALICE BUT I DO KNOW SHE IS SITTING AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD.

 I am so sorry we lost a child of God, Alice. We grew up together in Cassatt, S.C., she was a year older than me but we were so close. That was when you had respect for your parents, and was taught the "Golden Rule". She was a year older than me but we were great friends. As time pasted we grew up to became Registered Nurses and went different ways but I always considered her my friend. My heart is breaking but I am so thankful to God that Alice was a part of my life, as she was to all the people she helped and to her family. My Employer and I were blessed to meet Mrs. Alice at a crocheting group. She was so vibrant and loving. Such a sweet and caring Christian Lady. She touched everyone she met. Her loss will be felt by all who knew her.

     My sincerest condolences to all of you as you prepare to say goodbye to a wonderful lady who apparently put many others before her self. My prayers are with you all as you prepare to face many tough days ahead until justice serves you. May God's grace continue to carry you through those days and cherish your many memories that will forever be carried in your heart.

A wonderful cousin that always was smiling and made you feel welcome. I know she will be missed but is in heaven with dancing and singing all around her.

I am so sorry about Miss Alice. I didn't know her well, but from the first time I met her, l learned fast how big her heart was. She was so kind. God Bless her family and know she is smiling with Jesus.

I am so very sorry to hear of this sad news.  I worked at Forest Acres Police Department and met Ms. Tollison and several family members after the accident several years ago.  You all are in my thoughts and close to my heart during this most difficult time.
