Bonnie Elkins

Bonnie Bowling Elkins, 72, of Pineville passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at her residence. Born November 15, 1943 at Baileysville she was the daughter of the late Elmer Bowling and Grace Newsome Bowling. Bonnie was a member of the Pineville Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed taking part in the Presbyterian prayer group. She was a hairdresser for 35 years, was a loving wife and devoted mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Elkins, Jr.; a son, Jeffrey Dennis Elkins and brothers, Jerry Bowling and Elmer Bowling, Jr. Survivors include her son, Paul Gregory Elkins and his wife, Shawn of Pineville A daughter, Angela Rae Elkins of Pineville Daughter-in-law, Linda Kazman of Oceana Grandchildren, Emmalee Elkins, Seaman Zach Elkins, Jeffrey Kyle Elkins and his wife, Kasey, Alexander Elkins of the US Marine Corp., Katherine McBride, Holly Pouttu and her husband, Jay, Cody Mills and his fiancé Cheyenne Mills, Lanny Meadows and Erin Meadows Great-grandchildren, Jayci Elkins, Lillian Grace, Keaton, Kinley, Kash, Kase and Kamerin Her dog babies, Zoey and Zeke
