Carlos Porter Sr.

Mr. Porter was a retried coal miner and a Korean War Veteran. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends and his dog Prissy.

In addition to his wife Theresa Porter, he was preceded in death by a son Charles Ray Porter, a daughter Carol Sue Porter and her husband Randy, a granddaughter Kristie Porter, 2 grandsons Billy Porter and John Porter and a great grandson David Porter.

Survivors include his 3 sons, Carlos Porter Jr. of Charleston, Troy Porter and his wife Donna of Marianna, and Jeffery Porter of Marianna. A daughter-in law Peggy Porter of Charleston, 3 daughters, Redis Rose and her husband Ronnie of Ramey Addition, Brenda Mullins and her husband Frankie of Turkey Creek, Naomi Williams and her husband Mike of Pineville and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Thanks to all who helped take care of Mr. Porter.
