Glenda Kay Orndorff

Glenda Kay Orndorff, 64 of Williamson Branch in Pineville passed away June 16, 2015 at her residence following a long illness. Born March 13, 1951 at Mullens, she was the daughter of the late Loy Lester and Norma Adkins Lester. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Judy Kinser, Linda Lester, Helen Coburn; brothers, Jackie, Wayne, Verne, Mike and Danny Lester and a great-grandchild, Matthew Lacy Sizemore. Those left to treasure her memory are her daughters, Lora Compton and her husband, William of Skin Fork and Lisa Orndorff of Williamson Branch. Brothers, Barry Lester and his wife, Beatrice and Gene Lester all of Davy Sisters, Norma Lester of York, SC; Edie and Joe Workman of Catawba, SC, Donna Lester of Cummings, GA and Terrie Fatony of Florida 5 grandchildren, Lonnie and Kenneth Orndorff, Samuel Compton, Candice and Brandon Hess She will be greatly missed by a host of nieces, nephews and many friends and family. A celebration of Kay’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 18, 2015 in the Calfee Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in the Privett Family Cemetery, Keyrock Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from noon on Thursday until the time of the service.
