Mary Gunter

Mary Irene Gunter, 93, of Daniels, passed away Sunday June 29, 2014 at Bowers Hospice House. Born March 30, 1921 at Itmann, WV, she was the daughter of the late Walter G. Goode and Lilly Belle Lilly Goode.

Mrs. Gunter was a member of the Pineville Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in by her husband Jess W. Gunter, 3 sisters, Sene, Dorie, Lila and 4 brothers, Brack, Carl, Ray and Herbert.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Roger and his companion Juanita of Beckley and Gary and his wife Linda of Pineville; 3 grandchildren, Sandra, Jess R Gunter Jr. and Patrick; and 3 great grandchildren, Isaac, Gage and Amber.

She is also survived by a brother, Lloyd Goode of Colorado and 2 sisters, Faye Browning and her husband, Benny of Virginia; and Watsie Hill of Pineville
