William Keaton

PINEVILLE — William “Bill” Keaton, 76, of Pineville passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016, at his residence. Born February 27, 1939, at Williamson, WV, he was the son of the late Dan Keaton and Laura Bell Keaton. Bill was known as “The Cable Guy”; he worked in the cable TV industry for many years. He also coached little league and enjoyed working with his players. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bud, and a sister, Irene. Survivors include his three children, Marsha Williams, Michael Myers and Jeffery Keaton; a brother, Ray Keaton; and a sister, Bonnie Horne; 4 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2016, in the Calfee Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. In keeping with Bill’s wishing, he will be cremated.
