Alma M. Weinert Sinn

Age 92, of Ross Twp., Alma passed away early Monday, July 15, 2013. She was the loving wife of the late Carl F. Sinn, Jr.; beloved mother of Carolyn (Jim) Lorenzetti and Carl F. Sinn III; proud grandmother of Lisa Carroll, Jim Lorenzetti and Shawn Sinn; great-grandmother of Rachel, Sara, TJ and Jorge Carroll and Jenson Lorenzetti; sister of the late Carl Weinert, Mary Mullen, Otto Weinert, Catherine Gamble, John Weinert and Paul Weinert. During her years as a lifelong member of Riverview Presbyterian Church, Alma served as a Deacon, Elder, Women's Assoc. Officer and Food Bank Member. Alma retired after working over 20 years with Ross Twp. She then worked with her sister Catherine at her home daycare. She was active with the Perry High School Reunion group and was known as a tremendous baker who made many fancy cookies for church and family functions. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m in the HEARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4047 Perrysville Avenue, Observatory Hill where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Riverview Presbyterian Church Stained Glass Window Fund.
