Ann was born on October 21, 1937 in Gloucester VA to the late Robert and Daisy (Green) West. She was a married to the late E.Gerald Guckert for 51 years. He preceded her in death on December 4, 2008. In addition to being a wonderful homemaker and baker, Ann was a volunteer and President of the board of Auxiliary for Passavant Hospital and a lifelong member of the Lifeway Baptist Church. In her free time, she helped her husband with his accounting business, enjoyed painting and was a bingo and dominoes connoisseur.
Ann is survived by her children, Colleen (special friend Tabi McRoberts) and Robert (partner Maria Ettore); grandchildren Rob, Jenna and Nick and great grandchildren Cadence and Cameron.
The family of Ann would like to thank the staff of Cranberry Place for their wonderful care and support. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 18, 2026 at 4 PM at Lifeway Baptist Church on Rolling Road.
