After a brief illness, with family by her side, on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, age 82, of Shaler Twp. Devoted wife of the late Robert S. Goyak; loving mother of Bob (Gizella) Goyak, Karen (the late David) Mason, Donna Goyak (Mike Verbic), and the late Janet Goyak; proud grandmother of Luke (Anderea) Mason, Sara (Dan) Asher, Matthew (Sarah) Mason and Emily (Tim) Bouch; also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and her furry companion, Spunky the cat. Bernie was a long time member of the Bauerstown AARP #2490 and the Christian Mothers of Holy Spirit Church and will be greatly missed by her many friends. Family and friends received 6-8 p.m Thursday and 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the HEALY-HAHN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 512 Grant Ave., Millvale. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Spirit Church Saturday 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Reserve Twp.
