Carl Giannelli

Carl A. Giannelli, age 78 of McCandless Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 31, 2018. Loving husband of 56 years to Ruth Giannelli; devoted father of Lisa Chalmers (Dennis), Kim DeBaldo (Joel), Sue Giannelli and Tony Giannelli (Amy); proud grandfather "Ball" of Leighann Chalmers, Carly, Janelle, Deena and Dante DeBaldo, Mandi, Megan and Molly Nosker, Rocco and Arturo Giannelli; brother of Mary Ann Horchler, Andrew, Louis, John Giannelli and Deb Saxton. Family and friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Township, (412-364-4444). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM in St. John Neumann Church. Entombment will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park, Mausoleum. Carl worked as a District Manager of Boehringer Ingelheim in pharmaceuticals, he also served his country Honorably in the US Army as a Captain during the Vietnam Era. Carl was the founder of Alpa Phi Delta fraternity at Gannon University. He had a great love for fishing, golf, sports and attending his grandchildren's activities.
