David Johns, 75, of Franklin Park, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 11, 2026. Born in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, David was the son of Fred and Dorothy Johns and a beloved brother, uncle, and friend.
David graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in psychology before turning his talent behind the camera into a successful career as a fashion photographer for Kaufmann's. His work included producing full-page Sunday advertisements for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
An avid skier, David also enjoyed sharing his appreciation for carefully selected fine wines and jazz with family and friends.
David is survived by his sister, Susan Murphy; his brother, James Johns, and sister-in-law, Becky; and nine nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Johns, and sister-in-law, Donna.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
