David "Big Dave" Gerald Lennon, Jr., age 35 of Franklin Park, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 2, 2018. Dave was the loving son of David G. Lennon Sr. and his step-mother Patty, of Ross Township and Andrea Marshall and his step-father Tom, of Ohio Township; devoted brother of Jessica Lennon of Espyville and Ashley Roeser and her husband Philip of West View; proud grandson of Loretta and the late Robert Pello of Espyville and Thomas and the late Geraldine Lennon of McCandless Township; also surviving are many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. David worked at Pep Boys as a service technician and previously worked as a welder at Marcellus Shale. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved all sports that involved animals and spending time outdoors in the wild. His Steelers consumed his Sunday afternoons. Fitness and workouts with weights became his new passion. Dave was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need no matter what challenge they faced. He was also an active member of Calvary United Methodist Church on the North Side. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, April 14th, 2018 from Noon until time of memorial service at 2 PM at the H.P. Some people come into your life and quickly go.
Others leave Footprints on Your Heart Forever.
Lil' Dave is one of those people. He will always have my respect, my ear, and my shoulder to cry on.

He always had 'my back', and now follows as my Personal Angel.
I am blessed to have known him as The Man He Was.
Through his love & caring, I am a better person.

May The Lord carry him High, and Bless his Soul. We'll all see him on The Other Side.
Miss him, but Let Him Go. Loved him, and you are blessed. Peace & Luv My Friend, Aunt Andie.

I will never forget the first day we met or the last time I got to hug you and see you smile. I will forever cherish our time together.
“I will carry your heart with me forever. I will carry it with mine so we are never apart.” 🖤
Love always, Katie
