David Pinky "Pinky" Reihart

David W. “Pinky” Reihart of Millvale on Saturday, July 16, 2016. He was born in Huntingdon, PA to the late David W. and Florence (Abbott) Reihart. He later moved to the Northside and finally settled in Millvale. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Canyock) Reihart, loving father of Tammy (Ted) Wassell, Missy (Tim Hunt) Reihart and Bridget Reihart; Most Wonderful Grandfather of Joe Reihart, Leah Young, Alex Wassell, TJ Wassell, Olivia Wassell, Adria Keast and best buddy of Troy Paul Johnson; son-in-law of Kathleen Canyock, brother of Lois Booth, Joyce (George) Scherle, Mary Jean Bliss and Ray (Janie) Reihart, brother –in-law of Sandra Ferrara and George Sill. He was preceded in death by Richard Sailor and Janet Sill. He was the awesome uncle of many nieces and nephews and friend of MANY on Facebook. Pinky was a Navy Veteran, a member of local 154 Boilermakers, a PA State Constable for 37 years, a proud member of the Blue Knights and a member of the McKinley Stuckrath Lodge No. 318 & The Scottish Rite. He loved riding his Harley until his illness took over. He loved his family and friends, but most of all, he loved spending summers at the family camp in Moraine Campgrounds with his grandchildren and JoJo, his white Husky. Rest in Peace our husband, daddy, Papa, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. You are finally free… We love you and will miss you, but we know you will always be with us. Thank you to all who knew him and loved him. Friends received Wednesday 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm at the Healy-Hahn Funeral Home, Inc., 512 Grant Avenue, Millvale, 412-821-2940. Where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to a children’s charity or local veterans’ charity of your choice.
