

She was born June 6, 1950, in Morristown, NJ. She attended Middlesex High School and graduated in 1969. After attending Wilkes College, she graduated from Kean University in 1986.
During the 1960s, she spent summers with her grandmother in Dushore, PA area. That was where she met her future husband, Michael J. Lane. They married on June 2, 1972, in St. Basil's church Dushore.
As an interior designer, Deborah worked with clients to understand their personal taste before conceiving the presenting an acceptable solution. She taught an Interior Design course at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
Deborah was an accomplished needle arts person having graduated from the Elsa Williams School of Needle Arts. Besides doing working in pulled thread, bargello, and counted thread, she designed several cross-stitch projects for historic houses to sell. Quilting was another area where her talents were expressed. Her quilting group made numerous quilts to give away or serve as fund raisers. Besides managing several museum shops, she also consulted on products for shops to sell.
Besides being a loving wife, she was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband and son, Brendan (Lindsay), grandchildren Lily Mae, Josephine Anna, and Raena Rose, brothers Mark (Jacquie) and Brian (Kristen), and sister Theresa (late Edward) Hoey, and numerous nieces, nephew, cousins, as well as great and great great nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased in death by her youngest sister Sandra
