I just want to send my prayers to the family. She got a shih tzu from me and her family was so sweet and she kept in touch with me on facebook sending pictures and updates on Sammy. I could tell she was a very special lady and although I didn't know her well I could tell she would be welcomed by the angels. May she rest in peace and my prayers go out to her family.

Eugene, Brandy, Tina and John, I am  Debbie's first cousin Susie Peralta Huminik from Rio Rancho, NM.  I want you all to know that my husband Sheldon, my son Jeff, my daughter Mary and I send our most heartfelt condolences at the loss of your precious mother and wife.  I remember Deb when Uncle Sammy and Aunt Lois would come out to visit us in Albuquerque.  We were just kids then and even though we hadn't seen each other in years we communicated on Facebook and by phone.  Deb was a beautiful soul and I know she was a great mom to you kids and she loved you all and her precious Eugene so much.  She also loved her precious animals too.  She was so good.   I promise that I will continue to pray for her in my daily prayers.  Never lose sight of the fact that she will always be watching over you all from Heaven.  She is with my uncle Sammy and David and all those rowdy Lopez's right now!   May God give you all the strength you need to cope with your loss.  Please express my love and condolences to Aunt Lois as I know she is devasted at the loss of her child.  Please know that even though we haven't met in person... Gene, our condolences on the loss of Debbie.  Maria and I are so happy that we had the chance to meet her last year.  We'll always have fond memories of the time we all spent together in Michigan.

To all of Debbie's family, please know that Debbie will be in my daily prayers along with my Uncle Sammy and David. I am Debbie's first cousin on the Lopez side, my mom Susie was Uncle Sammy's  sister.  When Debbie was a little girl she would come to Albuquerque with Uncle Sammy and Aunt Lois to visit us  and we always had so much fun.  I will always cherish those memories.   To me the hardest thing in life is losing a family member especially a mother, grandmother, sister, wife and in Auntie Lois's case a child. Your heart breaks in a million pieces. Dear Gene,John,Tina,Brandy,and Lois, I am soo very sorry,I've known Deb since 5th grade.We spent most of our childhood together.I will hold all the memories of us in my heart. I loved Deb like a sister.Deb loved her children, and now grandchildren.Yes you grow up and you don't see eachother like when you were kids, but, you never stop caring.I will miss you Dear Friend, but I will cherish my memories we shared.
