Donald J. Washek, age 85 of Ross Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. He was the loving husband of 62 years to Mary C. (Gizzi) Washek; devoted father of Robert (Jan) Washek of Erie, Dawna (Ken) Stintzi of Cranberry Township and Keith (Martha) Washek of Gibsonia; proud pap of Jessica, Emily, Kristen (Nate), Kevin, Jake and Hannah, and brother of the late Robert Washek. Don was very active in the McCandless Little League, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Township, 412-364-4444, where services will be held at 10 AM Monday, Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ross Township. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
