Edward. I Fabry, Jr., MD

Edward I Fabry, Jr, MD, age 93, passed away peacefully May 22, 2017. Beloved father to son David Fabry; daughters Suzanne Fabry, and Linda (Michael) Kuna; grandfather to Rachael Schon, Amanda (Andrew) Miller, Zack Wander, and Michael Kuna; and brother to Harry W. Fabry. Edward was a US Naval Officer veteran, and physician, having served in both WWII and Korean Wars. Preceded in death by his parents Edward I Fabry, Sr., and Elizabeth (Watkins) Fabry; wife Lillian F., and son Edward I Fabry, III. Edward had served at one time as Chief of Urology Passavant Hospital Dept. of Surgery, Chief of Surgical staff at Sewickley Valley Hospital, Passavant Hospital staff member since its opening, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, fellow in American College of Surgeons, Diplomate of American Board of Urology, also a member of American Urological Association, Practice name-“Urology Associates”, Partners- Fabry, Fawcett and Lewis. Edward was a member of Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Masonic Lodge, and of Syria Shriners. Later in life he enjoyed the Senior Men’s Club and Cardiac Rehab at Passavant Hospital Cranberry Twp. He enjoyed boating on their houseboat, “The Lily Pad” with family and friends at Brady’s Bend. Friends will be received from 2-4pm & 6-8pm Thursday May 25, 2017 at HP Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., where services will be held Friday at 11am. Interment will follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park.
